Many are the tears
That have cascaded
Off the once cheerful
Cheeks of cheated women
Many are the virgins
Violently massacred
In the name of vile
Masculine gods
Many are the bodies buried
And the heads stoned
By hypocritical and unjust
Sons of Abraham
Many are the innocents
Dipped and drowned
With ducking stool
By clergy lead criminals
Many are the circumcised
And mutilated clitorises
Carried by demeaned
And pleasureless tribeswomen
Many are the wombs
Brutally burglarized,
Defiled, and raped
By merciless marauders
Many are the undesirable
Infections lingering
Long after sadistic,
And sometimes incestuous assaults
Many also are
The blistering bullets
Blurted out of the
Mouth of arrogance’s
Masculine incarnation
Many are the
Soft faces struck
By fists of
Furious cowardice
Many are the liposuctions,
The breast implants,
Sore toes and made up faces
Provoked by broken self esteems
Many are the insecurities
Injected into
Women’s wombs
By fearful phallic forces
Fearful, of the congruence and limitless might
Of the curves, the vulva, the breasts,
The infinite compassion and nurturing care,
And the powerful minds of the daughters of Venus
Many are the calluses
And broken bones
Endured by
Bound feet
But I declare to you,
Daughters of Venus,
You are not bound by anatomy
But, by the insecurities of fearful men
So dry your tears
Quell you fears
Hold your heads
And your breasts up high.
Do not be ashamed of who you are!
